Manor System
The local lords house is called the Manor House. The local lord had to protect the people in
his village. In exchange, the villages
made sure the noble had anything he wanted for him and his family. Together they made up a unit called the
manor. The manor was the lowest building
block in the feudal system. The local
manors were at the very bottom.
The local lord/noble was tasked to protect his village. He also was tasked to protect the noble above him. A lot of manors were pledged to the same noble. To attack, the noble combined a group of manors and led his force.
